A legendary junction – Dong Loc Junction

Dong Loc T-junction situated in Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province was a strategic road during the war against the US. It was a point of important connection between the North and Ho Chi Minh Trail as a supply line. This junction has massively suffered from the pain of bombardment by US air-crafts.
The T-junction is now memorized to ten heroines unmarried girls aged from 17 to 22 being killed by an air attack on 1968. They are ten courageous girls who staying at the post, using only simple tools of shovels and hoes to level bomb craters, to repair the road for traffic. Their names have been engraved on the hill, among the whistling pines at the Dong Loc road junction.

Hong Linh mountain (literally “red mountain range”) – a mountain range in Ha Tinh Province, lies between Hong Linh town and two districts of Nghi Xuan, Can Truong, is well-known for its 99 peaks.
